Markets, local wineries and arts and crafts people. Stroll to nearby Queens and Miyazu Japanese Gardens,
Suter Art Gallery, local cafes and restaurants or downtown for
some retail therapy.
Some excellent local walks are nearby. Walk to the 'Centre of New Zealand'
or walk up the beautiful Maitai River. All easy walks for families.

Tasman Wilson's Experiences - The only beachfront lodges

- Grape
Escape - The Grape Escape is a unique cafe and winery for
fabulous Nelson dining, wine tasting, weddings and special events.
- Nelson
Golf Club - Situated in Tahunanui and built on a sandy
base which provides rapid draining after rain. The Tahunanui links,
as the locals call it, is a 6,323 metres, par 72 course, which has narrow
undulating fairways and moderately fast greens.
- Suter
Art Gallery - The Suter is New Zealand's third oldest art
museum and celebrated its centenary last year. The Suter occupies a
building of historical significance, has an important art collection,
and is a gateway to the region's arts and crafts.
